This is my second try doing this, after I cropped the canvas out. Like I said before, I was going for mass appeal, explaining my choice for an andronygous model. Plus, I figured most people are going through some sort of life crisis.

This is a photo I took of myself about a year ago. I wanted to really experiment with colors in photoshop so I made myself green and my eyes purple. I liked the way it turned out, it looked kind of punk-y so I made the magazine Alternative Rock. I like the texture that showed through and the way the image turned out. I had to add a big stroke to make the headlines pop. It's basically a music magazine thats bright and eye catching.

This is my dog, Chopper. He's pretty much like a kid with ADD that downed 12 espressos. To get him to sit still long enough to take this picture I had to dangle a Milkbone in front of his face. I love him to bits though. Also, I'm crazy about alignment, so I made sure everything was justified. I also love earth tones, so I played with a lot of differant beiges and browns and coppers. The title is a spin of the movie "A Bug's Life". I thought it was kind of cute.

This cover was completely inspired/created around the photograph. I wasn't crazy about the eharmony.com thing, but I figured that type of magazine worked best with the photo.

There's not all too much to say about this. I'm one of the many who believe coffee is the nectar of life, so I've been known to stay up to live the life of a bat and spend time at coffee shops and indulge in any place that's open past midnight. And I had a short moment of inspiration when my boyfriend was just sitting with our cups of coffee and the light hit everything a certain way, leading to this picture with my cell phone. I must've looked like a silly art student. That pretty much sums it up.

I wanted to do something no one else was going do. My sister received a collection of nail polish and a tin of origami stars for Christmas so I thought I'd put it her present to use. ;-) What are sister's for?
Yeah. that's it. Enjoy it with a cup of hot chocolate.
