i like the simplicity of the background, it makes the text really vivid. i like the variety of fonts you used for the headlines, the only thing i would say could be different and putting "magazine musicians" in front of that guy's head. but i really like it other than that...sweet.
yeah nice job with this, even though the background is plain, there is so much going on otherwise that its okay. i like the mini equipment down at the bottom and the dynamic of the guitarist across the page. pretty good adherence to the CRAP basics too.
I enjoy this one a lot, because it reminds me of all the guitar and music magazines I used to indulge in when I really started to play the guitar seriously a few years ago. It seems like something you might actually see on the shelf in a store. Nice.

again the background is pale but it really works with the photo, the varying font sizes for the headlines work great for the cover too
